About the Job
Organisations are constantly challenged with an increasing number of information technology risks including security threats, regulatory and legislative compliance and unexpected disruption to system availability.
Our clients look to us to provide assurance that appropriate processes are in place to manage these technology risks, both today and in the future. We work closely with business and IT personnel to understand their processes; identify the key risks to the business and guide management on best practice principles to mitigate these risks.
As a Trainee IT Audit Consultant you can look forward to getting involved in:
• Participating in an established training programme;
• Performing research into new IT trends, risks, solutions;
• Obtaining exposure to numerous different clients in different industries;
• Interacting with an experienced team with diverse skillsets;
• Establishing working relationships with client personnel;
• Review client IT operating procedures and systems of internal control;
• Applying concepts of risk assessment;
• Design and perform tests of internal controls;
• Provide recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency
About You
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications
• Honours in Bcom or BBusSci with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems (Accounting and Auditing experience will be a distinct advantage)
You would need to have the following Experience and Technical Competencies
• Less than 1 years relevant working experience
• Have a keen interest in Information Management and Systems
• Strong academic credentials;
• Relevant work experience preferable (e.g. internships, vacation positions, etc.)

• Well-developed interpersonal skills;
