Requirements
A 3 yr. minimum qualification in the fields of study (disciplines) mentioned above. Aged between 18 and 35. Unemployed and never participated in the internship programme before in any government department. South African citizenship. People with disabilities and women are encouraged to apply. Limpopo residents to receive preferential consideration Readiness to work anywhere in the province as may be deployed by the department. Those who have completed their qualification but will graduate in 2013 must provide us with the confirmation letter from their institution (failure to do so will disqualify your application and it will not be considered).

Duties
Successful applicants will be offered a twelve (12) months comprehensive contract structured for on the job training to enable them to gain practical work experience and a better understanding of the needs and realities of the Public Service. This will prepare the interns for proper entry into the formal job market. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R4 035.06 per month.

    Job Specification

    This position is established for the succession in the region as well as support to the Regional Agronomy Director in the implementation and monitoring of GL Agronomy Best Practice Programs with the implementation of Minimum Agricultural Standards for the operations in the Africa region.To gather and analyze data from various agronomy trials and projects in the region.The position is also responsible for: — To assist and collaborate with the implementation of programs;- To provide administrative support in all areas of the Agronomy function, namely Agronomy KPIs, Cost of Production data, any other Agronomy related data and information.- To support the Regional Agronomy Director in the coverage of all VI production origins all the while gaining exposure and experience to fill a future agronomy management position.- To support the Regional Director in the maintenance of Agronomy Best Practice Guidelines and Minimum Agricultural Standards.- To support the Regional management team with regards to Agronomy related corporate affairs initiatives.- To support Regional manager with internal communication updates and technical support to Management – Provide support to the regional teams on any agronomy matters as deemed necessary by the Regional Agronomy Director.

    It serve as a living memorial to Solomon Mahlangu (1956-1979), a man of high principle and a Freedom Fighter, who was deeply committed to the revolutionary struggle for the people of his country.
    The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is responsible for main streaming and integrating youth development in all organs of the state, private sector as well as civil society
     
    The NYDA is calling South African young people who intend to study at registered Universities and Universities of Technology to apply for the Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund for the 2014 academic year. The following criteria will apply:

    ·        Financial neediness – combined salary of less than R15,000 a month
    ·        Reside in rural/Semi-rural areas
    ·        Engage in community service
    ·        Undergraduate/1st year registration in 2014, meet APS score and achieve an average of 70% in the NSC
